Patra announced a new managed-services layer this week that runs post-bind processing: document retrieval, policy checking, agency management system updates, policy delivery and renewal certificate of insurance processing, through what it calls a production-grade agentic AI platform.

The release does not publish an error rate, a cycle-time figure, or how many agencies are currently live on the workflow. Production-grade describes scale of rollout, not a measured accuracy standard.

For agencies whose vendors or wholesalers are adopting AI-run post-bind processing, the practical move this week is simple: pull a handful of certificates that passed through an AI workflow and check them against the bound policy before they reach a client. A wrong certificate remains an E&O exposure regardless of who, or what, drafted it.
