What this site collects, and what it does not.
- The website
- Reading the site sets no cookies of ours and runs no analytics or advertising scripts. Search runs in your browser against a public index. Netlify, which hosts the site, keeps ordinary server access logs, and we look at aggregate counts drawn from them (pages viewed, referring sites, countries) through Netlify Analytics. Nothing runs in your browser to collect this, and none of it identifies you to us. Links we post on social networks carry a label naming the network, so we can tell which one sent a visit.
- The newsletter
- Signup runs on beehiiv, which sends from report@news.therenewalreport.com and holds your address, your confirmation, the optional role you give us and your unsubscribe state. We do not buy, scrape or import lists, and we do not share addresses with vendors or sponsors.
- Downloads
- The worksheets are plain files. Downloading one sends nothing to us.
- Kept for
- As long as you are subscribed. Unsubscribe and your address leaves the active list; ask and the record is deleted.
