The less flashy side of insurance AI: making risk, premium and claims files usable. Bridgepoint took a majority stake in VIPR, the delegated-authority data platform, with plans to scale its AI capabilities.
For MGAs and program administrators this is the story that matters: bordereaux that reconcile. VIPR says it processes around 500,000 bordereaux a year representing about $12 billion in gross written premium, platform volume, not an AI result. Transaction closed in July; announced in September.
