Vertafore makes ImageRight document search tool generally available

Vertafore says the tool cut document search and review from about 20 minutes to two in early testing, sample size not disclosed.

Vertafore has released its Velocity Document Intelligence Agent to all ImageRight customers. ImageRight is the document management system many agencies, MGAs and carriers use to store policy, claims and underwriting files. The tool finds and reads documents in those files on its own instead of a staff member searching folder by folder. Vertafore says early testing cut search and review time from about 20 minutes to two minutes. It did not disclose how many users or documents were in that test.

The time saving is Vertafore's own figure from early testing and has not been independently measured. The report does not say the tool changes underwriting or claims decisions.
